Matt and Wendy Phelan have been involved in the ministry of Horton Haven since 1976. They worked as volunteers for several years and became part of the resident staff of Horton Haven in 1995. Matt serves as Executive Director and Wendy serves as Registrar and Guest Services Coordinator. They began directing a week of early teen camp in 1993, and have directed one week most summers since. Their oldest son Justin and his wife Claire live in Dubuque IA, their daughter Holly lives in Boynton Beach, Florida, and their youngest son Nathan is a freshman at Emmaus Bible College in Iowa. The Phelan’s are in fellowship at the Nashville Gospel Chapel.
